Who we are

Raceble ("we", "us") operates raceble.com, a multiplayer live-event fitness game that lets groups race on connected bikes, rowers, and treadmills with a shared realtime leaderboard. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Contact us at hello@raceble.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name and email address. If you sign up with a password, we store that password only in hashed form. If you register a passkey, we store its public key.
  • Organization data. Organization names, membership, and the email addresses of people you invite.
  • Game data. Games you create, their settings, and any branding (such as logos) you upload.
  • Workout telemetry. When a participant connects fitness equipment to a game, we receive live metrics from that equipment (such as speed, power, cadence, and distance) along with the display name entered for the leaderboard. Final results are stored with the game.
  • Technical data. Session cookies needed to keep you signed in, server logs, and error reports used to diagnose problems. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information solely to create and sign you in to your raceble account. We do not request access to any other Google data, and we do not sell Google user data or share it with third parties except the service providers listed below, as needed to operate the service.

Raceble's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use your information

  • To provide the service: creating accounts, running games, and showing live leaderboards.
  • To send transactional email such as magic sign-in links, password resets, and organization invitations. We do not send marketing email.
  • To secure the service, prevent abuse, and diagnose and fix errors.

What others can see

Games are designed to be watched. Anyone with a game's public link can see its live leaderboard and results, including each participant's display name and workout metrics. Participants choose their own display name and do not need an account, so join a game with a name you are happy to show publicly.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we rely on to run raceble: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and email delivery) and Sentry (error reporting). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists, and game results for as long as the game exists so organizers can review past events. To delete your account and associated personal data, email hello@raceble.com and we will action the request within 30 days.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed, join codes are verified using constant-time comparison, and access to game administration is limited to members of the owning organization.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK and EU data protection law), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@raceble.com.

Children

Raceble accounts are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16; if you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email.
